Paying for procedures

Paying for procedures

Medical Cosmetic Centre will provide you with a written quotation for each procedure or treatment package you are interested in.

Your financial consent to go ahead with a procedure or treatment package is a vital factor in your overall consent process and treatment plan.

Surgical procedures

A quotation for a surgical procedure includes your:

  • pre-surgery preparation consultation
  • theatre fees
  • surgeon’s fees
  • compression garments, where required
  • skin and hair care products, depending on the procedure.

If your procedure requires an anaesthetist, these fees are separate and need to be paid directly to the anaesthetist.

Medicare rebates may apply for some procedures that are performed for medical reasons rather than for cosmetic reasons.

When you have decided on a date for your surgical procedure, our friendly staff will organise everything for you. A $1250 deposit is required to confirm the theatre. A pre-surgery consultation is booked 2 weeks before your scheduled procedure. At this time, the balance of payment is due.

Packages for non-surgical procedures

Packages for Medical Cosmetic Centre’s non-surgical procedures are popular because they provide you with considerable savings by purchasing 6–10 treatments upfront.

These packages are available for Endermologie, laser hair removal, and many skin rejuvenation treatments. You can see our current Value packages here.

Methods of payment

Medical Cosmetic Centre accepts cash, bank cheques, Visa, MasterCard and debit cards. We also accept direct deposits into the clinic’s bank account — the BSB and account number is included on your invoice.

Please note that we do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards.

Financing your procedure

Medical Cosmetic Centre does not offer finance or financial advice to patients. This is deemed unethical by AHPRA’s (the Australian Medical Board’s) guidelines for best practice.

There are companies that specialise in finance for medical and cosmetic surgery procedures. These include MacCredit, Mediplan and others, which you can find through an internet search.

Your accountant or financial advisor can also provide you with advice on funding your procedure.
